Join the ABCRA – Australia’s largest rodeo and campdraft organisation.

The ABCRA is one of Australia’s leading rodeo and campdraft Associations. Formed in 1946 the ABCRA has played a major role in bringing rural communities together for over seven decades. Over the last two years, the ABCRA has seen massive growth, with more than 1,500 new members joining the Association’s rodeo and campdraft community.

As a member of the ABCRA you’ll have exclusive access to more than 500 rodeo, campdraft and challenge, Training Days and other events across the country. And to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our community, all members of the ABCRA are automatically covered by the Association’s Personal Accident and Public Liability Insurances, when competing at and travelling to and from ABCRA sanctioned events.

The ABCRA wants to see the sports of rodeo and campdraft grow into the future. Youth members will also have access to our dedicated Youth Development program, training days and clinics to help foster new skills and competition.

Important Notes:

Membership fees are inclusive of GST.
If you are a competitor, please DO NOT select BASIC in the membership renewal area – this is a non-competing membership only.
To be eligible to compete and for points to be awarded, membership must be paid prior to running in your event.
New Members who are Campdraft Encouragement riders need to advise Head Office of their Encouragement status at the time of renewing your membership. This will ensure you gain points in the Encouragement Rider standings. If joining as part of a combined or family membership, please also provide your membership number near your encouragement status.
Magazine entitlement will commence from the date of membership payment.
All fines incurred in the previous membership year must be paid before renewal can be processed (Rule G.14.).
Every ABCRA Junior member is required to have at least one parent/legal guardian who is a member of the ABCRA. The Parent/Legal Guardian will also be required to sign the ABCRA Code of Behaviour and Parental Consent and Indemnity before a Junior membership can be processed. Please note that it is the parent/legal guardian’s responsibility to ensure that any minor or child under their control will use appropriate tack, be suitably mounted and competent to compete at the level entered.
2024/25 Membership Year runs from the 1st May 2024 to 30th April 2025, with payments due 1st May 2024.
New members joining now will receive membership through until the 30th April 2025.
ABCRA uses the iCompete system for all membership applications. New Members will need to create a profile for iCompete in order to apply for membership.
